It communicates all needed information from engineer who designed a part to the workers who will make it.
FUNCTION OF ENGINEERING DRAWING:-
1 Delivered information.
2 Preservation, archiving , use of information.
3 Size & shape:-the shape of the object , represented as view, how the object will lock when it is viewed from various angle such as FRONT VIEW, TOP VIEW, SIDE VIEW,
4 Dimensions, Tolerances Material, Finishing all things.
